Clairo is set to take the stage at The Salt Shed on Oct. 16 & 17 in celebration of her newly released album, Charm (2024). She will be joined by opener Alice Phoebe Lou.
Claire Elizabeth Cottrell, famously known as Clairo began making and posting music when she was only 13 years old. Her first video was a cover of a Maroon 5 song. As she grew up, she began to write and release her music.
Her career in the music industry began in 2017 with the release of four singles. Two of those songs, “Flaming Hot Cheetos” and “Pretty Girl” went viral on social media platforms. She picked up momentum and began to drop single after single until she released her first studio album, Immunity, in 2019 which includes the songs “Bags” and “Sofia” which both became commercial successes in the indie bedroom pop genre.
Since the start of her career, she has released three albums including her newest, Charm, which came onto the scene in July of this 2024 year. She has also released 20 singles and one EP.
Clairo is known for her soft and delicate vocals accompanied by her alluring melodies. Her newest album, Charm, lays it all out on the table. It is incredibly soul-bearing while maintaining joy threaded throughout the songs.
