Chelsea Wolfe, American singer-songwriter, blends gothic rock, metal, and folk in her music. She began writing and recording during her childhood, in Northern California, with a strong influence from her country musician father. In an article with The Line of The Best Fit, Wolfe shares that her album, She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She, comes after period of sobriety and allows herself to enter the cave that comes with that, to find the treasure within. She shares “And, you know, facing your shadows is where you’re going to find the sparkle within.” Coming from a whimsical, spiritual, and self proclaimed witch, who grew up with exposure to substances, the depth of her soul is something quite significant. Wolfe mentioned that engulfing herself in this darkness and the process of creating this piece of art, has introduced her to ‘a new layer of herself – a pivotal collaborator in her music.’ The series of shows she has planned are set to take off at The Red Rocks on October 3rd, the perfect setting to compliment the energy she’ll be providing.
