COIN is set to perform on Oct. 4, 2024, at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in celebration of their newly released album I’m Not Afraid Of Music Anymore. They will be joined on stage by opener Aiden Bissett.
Nashville-based band COIN consists of Chase Lawrence on lead vocals, Ryan Winnen on drums, and Joe Memmel on lead guitar. The members were introduced to each other in college in their music theory class. They began writing music together and the band was born.
Their first EPs were released in 2012 but they didn’t gain much traction until 2015 when their first single “Run” was released. Quickly after that, a year later, they released the single “Talk Too Much” (2016) which put them on the map. “Talk Too Much” was released again in 2017 and featured on their second studio album How Will You Know If You Never Try.
The band has put together and released 29 singles and six albums including I’m Not Afraid Of Music Anymore (2024) which was released just this past month on Sept. 13, 2024.
COIN is known for its pop-indie sound and this album incorporates that while advancing that sound. They use their instrumentals including drums and piano to create dynamic songs.
The band was quick to jump to get on tour. They released this new album on Sept. 13 and their tour begins on Sept.29. They will be in Chicago a few days later on Oct. 4, 2024. They are set to take the stage at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom with opener Aiden Bissett. Tickets can be purchased now through LiveNation LiveNation.com.
