Mk.gee at the Vic Theatre on Oct.3

Singer/songwriter and musician Mk.gee is set to perform here in Chicago at the Vic Theater on Oct.3 in celebration of his newly released album Two Star & The Dream Police (2024).

Michael Todd Gordan, more well-known as Mk.gee has been in the music scene for just a few years but is on the rise and prospering in his sound. His first released piece of music was in 2017 with his single “I Know How You Get”.

His discography, although not the largest, entails profound works. His first studio album, Pronounced McGee, was released in 2018, a year after his first single dropped. Since then, he has released two more albums, A Museum Of Contradiction (2020), and Two Star & The Dream Police (2024). He has also released seven singles and one EP.

Before Mk.gee gained traction and became more well-known, he found his footing in the music industry by working with many artists. He has worked with the likes of Omar Apollo, Fred Again, Dijon, and many more.

He is known for his soulful indie sound. Some might categorize even him under alternative or lo-fi, showing just how versatile he can be. His raspy voice adds another level to his music, making him stand out as an artist.

Mk.gee will take the stage on Oct. 3, at the Vic Theatre here in Chicago. If planning to attend the show, get ready for an impactful night.
