The Voidz, is an experimental rock group, whose debut album, Tyranny, reached 50th in NME’s Top 50 Albums of 2014 list. Aside from Casablancas, the band consists of Jeramy “Beardo” Gritter, Amir Yaghmai, Jacob “Jake” Bercovici, Alex Carapetis, and Jeff Kite. The band’s third studio album, Like All Before You, is set to be released on the 20th of this month. According to Pitchfork, the new album was created with producers, Ivan Wayman, Justin Raisen, and Sadpony (aka Jeremiah Raisen). The presale to the October 21st show at the Knockdown Center in Queens was today, and the general sale is this Friday, July 12th, at 10am EDT. The Voidz will also be playing at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, on October 16th. After that, they will play at the Apollo in New York, on October 18th. Tickets to the Maspeth show on the 21st are selling on Dice for $58.97 USD., with no additional fees.
