Idles is taking the stage at the Aragon Ballroom here in Chicago on Sept. 18, 2024. They will be joined by the band English Teacher.
Idles is a British rock band that was formed in 2009. There are five members including vocalist Joe Talbot, guitarists Mark Bowen and Lee Kiernan, bassist Adam Devonshire, and drummer Jon Beavis.
These five have made, produced, and released music since the early 2000s. Before releasing any albums, the band put on shows and performances for eight years before releasing their debut album, Brutalism, in 2017. Before that, they released a few singles here and there, as well as an EP back in 2012.
Altogether the band has created seven albums, including their most recent release TANGK, in 2024, 29 singles, and two EPs.
TANGK was created to step outside and stand apart from their previous albums and that it has. They have taken their classic sound and allowed it to be pushed to the next level with its vibrant instrumentals.
Idles will be performing at the Aragon Ballroom later this month on Sept. 18, 2024. They will be joined on stage by the opening English Teacher. Tickets can be purchased through Live Nation LiveNation.com
