EDM duo The Glitch Mob will perform in Chicago on November 16, 2024. The show will be held at Park West.
The band members include edIT aka Edward Ma and Ooah aka Josh Mayer. Former member Boreta aka Justin Boreta exited the band in 2023. The Glitch Mob is an L.A.-based band that started when they released their first album, Drink the Sea, in 2010.
This first album was number 57 on the CMJ Top 200 chart for college radio.
The band started in the electronic music scene by making beats on their laptops. They quickly gained attention in L.A. and San Francisco when they started performing live. They were recognized for their unique and intuitive technology that accompanied their sets.
Since their start in the early 2000s, they have made and produced ten studio albums, 18 singles, and three EPs.
Their most recent project is the release of a few brand-new singles. The band has emphasized the single entitled “High Rezoltion”, but there are four more that have been released just this year. They are called, “Hold It (The Glitch Mob Remix)”, “Eeze Up”, What Would We Do”, and “L-EV8”.
