Better Lovers at Metro Chicago on Nov. 20

Better Lovers is coming to Chicago on Nov. 20 with a performance at Metro Chicago, following the release of their newest single “A White House Covered in Blood”, which hit the scene just this past month on Jul. 31, 2024.

Better Lovers, a hardcore punk band formed in New York, came together not too long ago in 2023 after the parting of a metalcore band, Every Time I Die. The members include Greg Puciato on vocals, Jordan Buckley and Will Putney on guitar, Stephen Micciche on bass, and Clayton Holyoak on drums. Buckley, Micciche, and Holyoak were all a part of the formation and dissolution of Every Time I Die.

Every Time I Die also consisted of Andy Williams and the brother of Jordan, Keith Buckley. This band goes back to the early 2000s. However, in 2021, Kieth decided to take a hiatus from the band for mental health concerns and then issued a statement saying he had been ostracized from the band. With rumors and animosity floating around, the band played their last show on Dec. 11, 2021.

Two years later, in 2023, Jordan Buckley, Micciche, and Holyoak formed Better Lovers. The members of this band are highly vetted musicians. They are deeply experienced in the music industry and never fail to bring on the excitement.

With the release of their newest single “A White House Covered in Blood”, Better Lovers will grace the stage at Metro Chicago on Nov. 20 with openers Full of Hell, Spy, and Cloakroom. Tickets can be purchased through Metro Chicago MetroChicago/etix.com
