Photo Review: Fitz and The Tantrums with O.A.R. at Toyota Music Factory

On Saturday August 3rd the Summer Tour ’24 made its way to the Toyota Music factory in Irving TX. Fans young and old filled the stadium, mostly standing in their seats cheering in anticipation of Fitz and The Tantrums taking the stage. And once they did, they lit it up; with power vocals and incredible energy. Early on in their set they played their viral song “Out of My League,” which got fans dancing in their seat as they cheered and sang.

The band knew how to take full advantage of the stage as they danced around, especially when they slowed it down for their song “I Just Wanna Shine,” which had fans open their flashlights — their energy filling the venue.

Getting towards the end of their set, they did an homage to their fans, from their 17 years of touring to play “Moneygrabber,” a fan favorite. Ending their set again by thanking their fans, new and old, giving them “a hand” and ending with their ever-popular “HandClap,” as fans clapped at the claps. Overall it was an amazing showcase of an incredible band.

Next up was the headliner O.A.R., an incredible indie rock band from Rockville, Maryland. They played a chill set, which still had fans cheering and swaying in their seats.
