Faye Webster joins a myriad of artists who are hosting Lollapalooza after shows. Her aftershow directly follows her Lolla set taking place at The Vic Theater on Aug. 1.
This Atlanta-based artist began her career back in 2013, at the age of 16, with the release of her first studio album Run and Tell. With her being so young, her career took a while for it to find solid ground. Her second album, self-titled Faye Webster, didn’t hit the scene until 2017. In 2019, the release of her third album, Atlanta Millionaires Club, put her on the map with the first track, Room Temperature, being featured in a Rolling Stone article.
She has since released two more albums, I Know I’m Funny haha in 2021, and Undressed at the Symphony, released just this past year in 2024.
Webster’s sound is what sets her apart from other alternative indie artists. Her voice is angelic and ethereal with a raspy twang. She is able to draw emotion out of listeners with nothing but the sound arising in her throat.
