A warmer day 2 of Stagecoach brought fans out to pack the tented stages, featuring numerous folk and classic country bands. Headlining the night were Willie Nelson & Family, Post Malone, and Miranda Lambert. Numerous special guests were brought out across sets, including Reba McEntire (with Lambert), Brad Paisley & Sara Evans (with Post Malone).
Ernest, whose popular songwriting made him a fan favorite set, brought out Lukas Nelson to share his stage. During his set, Ernest also brought out his young song, who ‘wanted to sing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”.” Fans erupted in laughter as the packed country crowd all sang the classic children’s song together. Ernest additionally brought out Jelly Roll, sharing the stage again for a second day in a row, for their song “I Went To College / I Went To Jail.” To wrap up his set, Ernest, who has written numerous songs for Morgan Wallen, played “Flower Shops” and “Love Live Cowgirls.”
Post Malone hit the country festival playing country classics to the crowd. His set was full of energy as all the covers picked were absolutely loved by all country fans. Songs covered included “Check Yes or No,” “Be My Baby Tonight,” “I’m Gonna Miss Her” with Brad Paisley, “Who’s Your Daddy?,” and “Suds In The Bucket” with Evans. Malone solidified his stance in the country industry with his rough vocals that appealed to ’90s country fans and his high energy throughout the entire set.
