Lil Nas X Celebrates His Birthday With New Single “Right There”

Lil Nas X turns 25 this year and in celebration he’s blessed his audience with new track called “Right There” off of his upcoming mixtape NASERATI 2. On Twitter, Lil Nas X made an announcement thanking fans for the Birthday wishes and shared the link to the new track.

The song starts with a sampled chorus-laden chorus for eight seconds until the bass and the vocals come in. The hook comes in with some strong 808s, and the song takes the listener on a ride. The kick drum goes hard, and the 808s have more of a trap-feel than a pop feel. The track is a bit different than what we’re used to from Lil Nas X. This isn’t a trend or a meme or a TikTok. There’s still a form to the song, with hooks, bridges and breakdowns. “Right There” definitely leaves fans wanting more.
