Lizzy McAlpine at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on May 16

Indie pop singer-songwriter, Lizzy McAlpine, has announced the Older Tour in support of her upcoming album of the same name! She will be making a stop at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on May 16.

Elizabeth Catherine McAlpine, professionally known as Lizzy McAlpine, grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and began writing music in sixth grade. She attended the Berklee C0llege of Music before dropping out her junior year to pursue music full time. McAlpine blends elements of bedroom pop, folk, and R&B bin her music, having collaborated with many of modern heavy hitters within those respective genres.

She released her first body of work, the EP, Indigo, in 2018 before studying abroad in Spain where she would craft her debut album, Give Me a Minute. The album did well critically but it was not until the release of her sophomore album, Five Seconds Flat, in 2022 that McAlpine would start to see viral success. Her single, “ceilings,” blew up on TikTok which assisted Five Seconds Flat, in charting on the Billboard 200, reaching number 145.

After a relatively quiet 2023, McAlpine is gearing up to release her third album, Older, on April 5. The title track, released just a few weeks ago, has already garnered millions of streams across all platforms.
