Lake Street Dive at The Greek Theatre on July 28

Boston based genre fluid band, Lake Street Dive, have announced the Good Together Tour, an expansive live experience across the US this summer and fall! The five piece will be making a stop in Berkeley at The Greek Theatre on July 28.

Starting their career as a “free country band” in 2004 at the New England Conservatory of Music, Lake Street Dive has spent their career blurring genre line in unique and creative ways. Utilizing a massive variety of instruments from guitars and keyboards to ukuleles and organs, the band has covered soul, pop, folk, jazz, and more across their career. With seven albums under their belt, the groups has remained prolific in their existence as an active musical project.

Lake Street Dive is lead vocalist Rachel Price, bassist Bridget Kearney, drummer Mike Calabrese, keyboardist Akie Bermiss, and guitarist James Cornelison. Prolific touring is no strange task to the band, their early years included an impressive 100 shows across 24 states from 2007-2011. The hard work certainly paid off for the group, garnering enough attention to have multiple albums chart in the US, Belgium, and Canada. With a signature sound, and an infectious energy, Lake Street Dive is not an act you’ll want to miss!
