The Last Dinner Party at Bimbo’s 365 Club on April 16

Breakout British baroque-pop group, The Last Dinner Party, have announced an expansive North American tour in support of their debut album, Prelude to Ecstasy! The band will conclude the first leg of the tour with a stop in San Francisco at Bimbo’s 365 Club on April 16.

First forming in 2021, bandmates Abigail Morris, Georgia Davies, and Lizzie Mayland met in London and performed at local venues, gaining traction through word of mouth without formally releasing any music. After picking up additional members Emily Roberts and Aurora Nishevci, The Last Dinner Party would sign with Island Records in early 2023 and release their debut single, “Nothing Matters.” The track was an instant hit and the band would continue to release singles throughout the year, also embarking on their first sold-out US mini tour in autumn 2023.

The rest of the year proved busy for the group, supporting Hozier on a European arena tour and announcing their debut album, Prelude to Ecstasy, in November. The album is out today; kicking off what is sure to be a busy year for the band. They are set to not only tour the US but also Europe, along with various festivals – including a spot at Coachella. Having released their debut single less than a year ago to selling out venues overseas, The Last Dinner Party are surely a group to watch!
