Busta Rhymes at The Masonic on March 13

Legendary rapper and singer, Busta Rhymes, has announced the BLOCKBUSTA Tour in across the US in 2024 in support of his new album, BLOCKBUSTA. He will be making a stop in San Francisco on March 13.

Trevor George Smith Jr., professionally known as Busta Rhymes, was born in 1972 in Brooklyn, New York. He made his debut in the East Coast hip hop group, Leaders of the New School. The group made waves when they opened for Public Enemy on tour. Busta Rhymes released his debut album, The Coming, in 1996. The album has since gone platinum and reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Throughout his career, Busta Rhymes has collaborated with countless legendary artists including The Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, Lil’ Wayne, and Justin Bieber. He has been nominated for a total of 12 Grammy Awards and released a total of 11 studio albums, the most recent of which, BLOCKBUSTA, arrived in November.

Busta Rhymes has been included in numerous lists of the best rappers of all time. His legacy is one of versatility and longevity, with BLOCKBUSTA charting at number 42 on the Billboard 200 and featuring a guest list of numerous new school acts.
