Photo Review: Mannequin Pussy Live at Saint Vitus Bar

The energy of Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, New York was electrified by the magnetic performance of Mannequin Pussy and their opening band Scowl, during Spotify Presents: A Rock Show on December 3. The intimate venue was buzzing with raw intensity as both bands poured their hearts into every note, leaving the audience in a state of euphoric frenzy. Scowl put on an incredible show, solidifying their prowess as a Rock and Metal band with every punch of the drums and vocal scream. Lead Singer Kat Moss held each and every audience members attention as they jumped from each end of the stage, shaking their green hair about as they too lost themselves in the punchy rhythm of their set. Following Scowl, Marisa Dabice ‘s, of Mannequin Pussy, vocals pierced through the air, carrying a blend of vulnerability and ferocity that resonated deeply. Alternating between soft melodies into intense whirlwinds of heavy guitar and drums, the band captivated their audience with each and every song. The synergy between band members was palpable, driving the crowd into a cathartic whirlwind of headbanging, stage diving, and unbridled emotion. Mannequin Pussy’s set was a testament to the transformative power of live music, a night that ignited the soul and reverberates long after the final chord faded.
