Alkaline Trio at The Masonic on March 27

Punk rock band, Alkaline Trio, have announced the Blood, Hair, And Eyeballs Tour in support of their upcoming album of the same name. They are playing a show in San Francisco at The Masonic on March 27.

Alkaline Trio are lead vocalist and guitarist Matt Skiba, bassist Dan Adriano, and drummer Atom Willard. Formed in Chicago in December 1996, the group’s current and previous members all have roots within the Chicago punk and hardcore scenes. They began releasing music in 1997 with their debut EP, Sundial. Their debut album, Goddamnit, released in 1998.

The band have released nine studio albums thus far in their career, with their tenth, Blood, Hair, And Eyeballs, set to release on January 26 via Rise Records. This album will mark Alkaline Trio’s first record with Atom Willard as drummer, taking the place of Derek Grant who departed from the group this year.

Alkaline Trio’s music has been described as a mix of punk, rock, emo, and pop. Their songs are heavy in lyricism around alcoholism, depression, women, and love.
