Mannequin Pussy at August Hall on April 27

Philadelphia based punk band, Mannequin Pussy, has announced a tour in support of their upcoming album, I Got Heaven, set to release next year. The band will make a stop in San Francisco at August Hall on April 27.

The band got their start in 2010, self releasing a number of singles and EPs, eventually dropping their self-titled debut album in October 2013. In 2014, Mannequin Pussy signed with Tiny Engines and re-released their debut on the label. Their sophomore LP, Romantic, was released in October 2016. The title track ranked number 16 on Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Songs of 2016 and is arguably their biggest track to date.

In 2019, the band signed with Epitaph Records and released their third album, Patience, in June. The band was forced to cancel a 2020 tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They would reflect on their experiences during the pandemic on their 2021 EP, Perfect. Their fourth album, I Got Heaven, is set to release on March 1, 2024. Mannequin Pussy is vocalist Marisa Dabice, drummer Kaleen Reading, bassist Colins “Bear” Regisford, and guitarist Maxine Steen.
