Noname at The Fillmore October 22nd

Chicago-born artist Noname has made a full comeback to the music scene with her first new album in five years, Sundial, and she’s ready to broadcast it. Soon after the release of the album, she announced a national tour starting this October. It kicks off in Chicago, but it won’t be long until Philadelphia feels the wrath of her lyricism live, as she’ll be at the Fillmore on October 22nd.

Before this album, Telefone was released in 2016, and Room 25 in 2018. After her second album was released, Noname decided to take a break from music and practice what she preaches: giving back to her community. Throughout the five-year break, the artist created a book club centered around “uplifting POC voices” that also donates their monthly picks to people incarcerated across America.

As we discuss ways that Noname gave back to her people, Sundial is no less than that. An album with anthems that emphasize self-esteem, critical race theory, and the irony of life all in one, this junior album is an ode to hip-hop we didn’t know we needed.

Recently the artist’s been on stage more often, with performances at Coachella 2023 and the Sundial Block Party. However, this will be the first full tour Noname has headlined in four years. To buy tickets to the Philadelphia show, visit Ticketmaster.com
