Off the release of his new album, Austin, Post Malone will be coming to Mountain View to play at the Shoreline Amphitheater on August 16th, 2023.
Post Malone (real name Austin Richard Post) came to fame with his single White Iverson, released on Soundcloud (and as a music video on YouTube) in 2015. The song’s success led to him signing a record deal with Republic Records. His first album, Stoney, came out in December 2016, while he was opening for Justin Bieber on Bieber’s “Purpose World Tour”.
Stoney was followed by beerbongs & bentleys in 2018 and Hollywood’s Bleeding in 2019. beerbongs & bentleys broke the first-day streaming record on Spotify, with 78.7 million first-day streams. These albums catapulted Post Malone to headlining world tours.
On July 28th, 2023, Post released his fifth-studio album, Austin, composed of 17 tracks. His first show of the proceeding tour is tonight in West Palm Beach, Florida. He will be playing shows mostly every other day up until he comes to Mountain View on August 16th, where Beach Fossils will be opening for Malone.
It should be a great night of music; Beach Fossils is a fantastic band and Post Malone is a unique voice in the musical world.
