The Band Camino at Aragon Ballroom on October 8

Indie electropop group The Band Camino announced their “Screaming in the Dark” Tour this past week. The North American tour will follow the band’s second studio album, The Dark, which is set to release on August 11. The group will stop in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom on October 8.

The Band Camino formed when drummer Andrew Isbell, bassist Graham Rowell and vocalists Spencer Stewart and Jeffery Jordan met as students at the University of Memphis. They released two EPs before signing with Elektra Records, where they released another EP and their debut self-titled album in early 2022. Jordan, Stewart, and newcomer Harrison Burgess now make up the band. The 14 track album received praise from critics for its consistency in its track list, as well as its genuine and emotional lyrical content.

As of late, The Band Camino has kept busy, releasing the singles “Told You So”, “What Am I Missing?”, “Last Man In The World” and “See You Later” all since February. The singles have kept true to the band’s guitar heavy, indie rock style, all complete with catchy choruses and intricate and intriguing instrumentation. The band is also known for it’s collaborative nature. As Jeffrey Jordan has shared with American Songwriter in the past, “We’re not just one dude in front. It isn’t easy, but The Band Camino is a representation of… our collective experiences.

Coming off of their recent European tour, The Band Camino is more than ready to keep putting on energetic and engaging concerts for their dedicated fans. Don’t miss the group in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom on October 8. Tickets are now on sale here
