In the press release, it was announced that Manchester Orchestra and Jimmy Eat World have both covered a song by each other. This is in anticipation of their tour together their North American tour together they plan on taking over North America and delivering show-stopping performances all over.

Manchester Orchestra covered the song “Table for Glasses” while the instruments are much more crisp and clear in the original version, Manchester Orchestra blends their sounds for a softer effect. The background is almost fading in a beautiful way that adds a lyrical effect to the Manchester Orchestra version. Almost adds a more modern feel though the lyrics remain the same and so does the overall tone. The lyrics are wistful and are reflecting on how time is going by too fast and wanting to turn it back on a moment. It remains a song that reflects that and is still a song that prizes melancholic beautiful music, which Manchester Orchestra fully captured while making the song their own.

Jimmy Eat World has covered the song “Telepath” where the lyrics are almost begging for forgiveness and yearning for the person they love. While both bands give the feeling of yearning, it is two very different versions. Jimmy Eats World adds more of a rock sound to it. In the beginning, they approach the song hard, and then they add in drum and electric guitar to harden the softer sound of the chorus. They leave the rest of the song relatively soft, leaving that yearning feeling at parts, but it comes off more upbeat with the rock elements.
