Sbtrkt at Brooklyn Steel on June 7th

Musician and producer Sbtrkt is coming to New York City in just a few days, June 7th, for a performance at Brooklyn Steel.

Aaron Jerome, known by the stage name Sbtrkt, is a British musician and producer most known for remixes of songs and creating his own music using highly electronic sounds and creating an energetic energy in his performances.

With EPs dating back to 2009, Sbtrkt has been a staple of the electronic music community for many years. His remixes of M.I.A, Radiohead, Mark Ronson, and more gained him popularity and allowed him to expand his reach with the release of his name-sake album SBTRKT in 2011 followed by Wonder Where we Land in 2014. In 2016, Sbtrkt announced a collection of music in a ‘non-album’ which allowed him more freedom of expression in releasing music.

After a long pause, Sbtrkt announced a return to music in 2022, promising new music soon. This ultimately came in May 2023 with the release of The Rat Road, the first album for Sbtrkt in over 7 years.

Now, the British artist is taking this album on the road, including festivals later this year in Ireland, Barcelona, London, Miami, Los Angeles and more.

Before all of that, Sbtrkt is performing a show this week, on June 7th at Brooklyn Steel. The all GA venue is a perfect opportunity to see the artist perform with a supporting cast using synthesizers, drums, keyboard, and other percussion.
