Gorillaz Performs with De La Soul, Thundercat, Bootie Brown and More; Honor The Late Trugoy the Dove with Small Remembrance

Gorillaz performed on the main stage tonight and it was a performance to remember with so many guests making an appearance to join Damon Albarn. We’ve got Thundercat, Bootie Brown, Slowthai, Del the Funky Homosapien, Jamie Principle, Peven Everette, and of course, we can’t forget De La Soul.

Gorillaz recently released a new album Cracker Island and played a few songs from the album that featured Brown and Thundercat. Del La Soul made an appearance toward the end of the set and performed their classic hit “Feel Good Inc” (laugh included) and ended their performance together with a small tribute to the late Trugoy the Dove. All in all it was a good night for Gorillaz.
