Album Review: Kx5 – Kx5

Exhilarating, Gritty and Fun

Kx5’s newly released album, Kx5, is an exhilarating EDM album that also possesses elements of hip-hop and pop. Each song gives off bright, positive vibes that make this album fun to listen to. Its catchy melodies and interesting mix of vocal styles keep the music exciting and edgy. The way each song seamlessly transitions into the next makes this album feel like an endless loop of upbeat EDM music.

Kx5 features a mix of singers that each bring a different sound to the album. One track may contain raspy, rugged vocals, while the next explodes into a powerfully-belted solo. The variety of vocal styles on this album give each song its unique voice and helps them to stand out from the rest. Much of the album’s personality comes from the different voices heard in each song.

Though this album contains bouncing rhythms and electrifying bass drops, the album tends to sound slightly repetitive after the first few songs. Kx5 is a great EDM album that fans of both electronic, as well as pop, will enjoy. Its foot-tapping rhythms and gritty bass tones provide this record with depth and feeling. The album manages to keep a consistent energy throughout each song, with its driving beats and heavy synthesizers. Though many of the songs on the album seem to blend together, the vocals are what help each track stand apart. Fans of EDM and pop will definitely want to listen to this new album by Kx5.
