Stars comes to Lincoln Hall-Schubas Tavern!

13/4/23 – Chicago, IL – Lincoln Hall-Schubas Tavern

The indie band Stars comes to Lincoln Hall-Schubas Tavern on April 13th! The band consists of Torquil Campbell, Amy Millan, Evan Cranley, Chris Seligman, Patrick McGee, and Chris McCarron. Their recent release was in 2022 with From Capelton Hill. They’re most known for their songs “Dead Hearts” and “Your Ex-Lover Is Dead”.

Stars is notorious for their large instrumental orchestrations and soft spoken vocals. The construction of the different instruments and their melodies speaks to the talents of Stars. With it’s cast of characters, the band is a masterful working machine. Each of its various parts help support the 20 year success that is Stars.

Opening for Stars is Lydia Persuad! The singer’s most recent release was her sophomore album Moody31 in 2022. Her website describes a “brokenness, loss of identity, and glorified independence commingle with self-assurance, acceptance and new beginnings” that fills the album. Although she has only just released her second album, Persuad has been in the music industry for a decade. She has performed with The Soul Motivators, The O’Pears, and Dwayne Gretzky.
