The group was formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1990 and consisted of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas. TLC is known for its unique blend of R&B, hip-hop, and pop music, as well as its catchy lyrics and memorable music videos. Some of TLC’s biggest hits include “Waterfalls,” “No Scrubs,” and “Creep,” which all topped the charts in the 1990s. The group also faced tragedy when Left Eye was killed in a car accident in 2002.
