Blink-182 has a two day residency at United Center!

6/5/23, 7/5/23 – Chicago, IL – United Center

The pop punk band Blink-182 is coming to the United Center for a two day residency on May 6th and 7th! The band consists of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker. Blink-182 is known for their songs “All The Small Things” and “I Miss You”. The band is responsible for really bringing the pop punks scene into mainstream success with their catchy songs and lyrics about love and fun.

Blink-182 still continues to create pop punk music for new generations. They’ve recently released the single “EDGING” with a new album along the way. The California band has seen a lot of change throughout their years being active. Member Tom DeLonge left the band in the early to mid 2010s. During that time, Mark Hoppus had been diagnosed with lymphoma. Upon his return in 2022, Hoppus was cancer free and back to help create the band’s next album. With DeLonge retuning to the band, the trio is back and ready to perform again.

Opening for Blink-182 is Turnstile! The Maryland hardcore punk band consists of Brendan Yates, Franz Lyons, Pat McCrory and Daniel Fang. The band has earned three GRAMMY nominations for their album GLOW ON. That same album showcases what the band is great at. GLOW ON keeps its roots in punk music, but adds groovy and electronic elements to diversify their album. Tracks like “NO SURPRISE” and “ALIEN LOVE CALL” which features Blood Orange incorporate an ambient indie sound. Whereas “HOLIDAY” and “T.L.C.” are more on the hardcore spectrum.
