Indie rock group has a taste for traveling and they are scheduled to arrive in San Francisco
Pinback is a little known indie rock duo. They have a few over 300,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and they want you to listen and see them play in San Francisco’s The Fillmore which is a music venue that is located in close proximity to the Fillmore district in the city. Sounds cool yet? Just wait until you see all the night life around the area. Honestly from experience just arrive more like at 3pm or 5pm if you want a good look at how well lit the area is with life and shopping and fine dining before it all closes down for the day because man is San Francisco such a sleepy sleepy city. Everything typically closes earlier or just in time for your kid brother’s sleep time just before he heads to school the next day. Remember grade school? Man, all I can say now is that I’m sure glad I can eat as many Oreos as I want now. I think I’ll have one now actually HASHTAG NOT SPONSORED.
ANYWAY, judging from pictures and The Fillmore’s own website (that you can access through the Brave search engine) the place and surrounding area are pretty nice for like a date, or family hour, or take your best mates for some bubble tea and tempura. What do you think? Well, couple all that with indie rock, sounds like a super easy going, not so serious time in Fog City if I do say so myself.
So it is scheduled for next month in April which feels like a ways away but man it creeps on you like a snake if you don’t pay attention. It is scheduled for a Thursday evening. So probably won’t be as easy to get like saturday would be but hey at least the traffic should be great on a thursday afternoon/evening/night commute BART or otherwise. Oh, by the way can you lend me like a gazillion bucks for gas? Yeah I bet your feeling that too huh?
