80’s gothic group of legend comes to Mountain View’s Shoreline!
The Cure! Yes! The Cure is scheduled for a tour date in Mountain View at The Shoreline Amphitheatre! Ok so remember all those times I told you that my first concert was at The Concord Pavillion? (At least I think I did) but now that I remember it was actually at The Shoreline. The Jonas Brothers Burnin’ Up Tour was amazing! See The Shoreline is dope for these sorts of shows and I remember back in 2013 when Vans Warped Tour was coming back to the Bay Area, for some reason they thought it was smart to choose The Shoreline Amphitheatre. I already knew it was going to be a bummer and my friends at the time went and I warned them and man was I right. They said so. But hey you have nothing to worry about because this is a show for one band. Not a festival hosting multiple vendors and bands with little to know moshing space. Oh and don’t forget all the foot traffic like mad!
Anyway, anyway, look I think this show will be dope. Just eat a heavy meal and take your turmeric enzymes and drink lots of water beforehand ok? Maybe drink some matcha tea too. What? It’s healthy! Well look you are probably in your 50’s or older anyway so you know exactly what I’m talking about and are way ahead of me in more than just years. Good on you!
You know what you should do in order to hyped up for this show? Go on YouTube and look up old home movies of “Cure Kids” from the 80’s. Bro it’s crazy all the hype around them back then. It was like a subculture even deviating away from the goth kids at the time! It was like “how dare you call me goth, I’m a Cure Kid!” or “How dare you call me a Cure Kid! I’m gothic you normie!” Ha ha! Ok well I guess the rule of thumb is never say your goth just be it HA! Well that’s debatable for sure especially when you read the official unofficial Encyclopedia Gothica by Liisa Ladouceur.
