Yo La Tengo is coming to New York on March 18th, 2023 at Brooklyn Steel. 

Yo La Tengo is an American indie rock band formed in Hoboken, New Jersey in 1984. The band consists of Ira Kaplan (guitar, vocals), Georgia Hubley (drums, vocals), and James McNew (bass guitar). They are known for their eclectic sound that draws from various genres, including shoegaze, noise rock, folk, and experimental music. Over the course of their career, they have released over 15 studio albums, as well as numerous EPs and singles. Some of their most popular songs include “Sugarcube,” “Tom Courtenay,” and “Autumn Sweater.” Yo La Tengo is also known for their live performances, which often feature extended improvisations and covers of other artists’ songs.
