Yellowcard is coming to New York on July 8th, 2023 at the Rooftop at Pier 17.

Yellowcard is a band that formed in Florida in 1997 and gained popularity in the early 2000s with their unique blend of pop-punk, emo, and alternative rock. The band’s lineup consisted of Ryan Key (vocals, guitar), Sean Mackin (violin), Ryan Mendez (guitar), and Josh Portman (bass). Yellowcard’s third album, Ocean Avenue, released in 2003, was a critical and commercial success, selling over 2 million copies and featuring hit singles such as “Ocean Avenue” and “Way Away.” The band’s use of a violin in their music set them apart from other pop punk/emo bands at the time and added a unique element to their sound. Yellowcard released a total of ten studio albums, with their final album, Yellowcard, released in 2016.

Valentina Arrieta: I'm currently a college student who loves going to shows more than anything, and who has been an avid concertgoer for the last decade. My entire life revolves around music, and I can talk passionately, and at length about all my favorite artists. I study art in all its forms, with an emphasis on music, so I love that I'm able to get the opportunity to write about music, and share with you all some great shows that are coming up in NYC!
