Lil Wayne comes to United Center!

9/4/23 – Chicago, IL – United Center

Resale tickets are still available for the Lil Wayne concert at United Center on April 9th. Born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., Lil Wayne is one of the most influential artists in hip/hop. Wayne has released 14 studio albums, 27 GRAMMY nominations and five wins. According to Radius, the New Orleans rapper started his professional career by joining Cash Money Records at 12. His debut was on B.G.’s True Story

Recently, Wayne has released a mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait, a project he dropped in anticipation of his 15th album. The rapper is responsible for hits like “6 Foot 7 Foot”, “Lollipop” and “A Milli”. He’s made contributions to albums from Drake, Eminem, Tyler, the creator and the Spider Man: Into the Spiderverse Soundtrack.

Not only has Lil Wayne had a career in music but he has also made a business career for himself. Lil Wayne founded his own record company Young Money Entertainment. The label can be held responsible for the success of Nicki Minaj’s career, who has been signed to it since her first few mixtapes. Currently signed to Young Money is Christina Milian and T-Streets. Previously signed to the label were artists such as Drake, Tyga, and Jay Sean.

The multi-talented musician and businessman should make an interesting show with his decades of intoxicating hooks and beats.
