Cuco The Independent 02/27

Contemporary underground-internet style artist comes to San Francisco! Yay!

Cuco – man what to say about this guy! I just now was going through some of his music on Spotify and man this guy can make MUSIC! I officially sold on this guy now! You know I am not big fan of music with spanish lyrics but what draws me to him is that he has really mastered that low fidelity hip hop sound and has really grabbed a hold of the vaporwave A E S T H E T I C and pleasantly injected it all into his music! Songs like Lo Que Siento, Piel Canela, and Amor De Siempre are all dope songs that I really appreciate for its artist and instrumental value and the album covers really shows you what he wants you to think of in terms of those aesthetics I mentioned earlier. The song I really liked was in english and it is First Of The Year. It was very sweet and endearing. This guy has talent and it makes me think he is a visionary of music. It definitely reminds me of the internet duo Magdalena Bay.

Well anyway as a result of listening to his music I very much do highly recommend you go see him live at The Independent in San Francisco! His show lands on a Monday so maybe it should be easy to call out and have you shift covered or something. Tickets are $39.50 in advance and $40 at the door. Oh wow! (sarcasm) You just saved like a dollar and 50 cents because you decided to buy the ticket online. Who knows that probably does not include the usual service fees and such. Oh and sorry kiddos ages 21 and up! I know that is so lame it does not make any sense.
