Famous metalcore/screamo band known especially for their album They’re Only Chasing Safety comes to rock hard in the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino Resort!
Underoath has been around since the turn of the century and I have been a huge fan of the group since I was a kid in high school! Man these guys used to be on MTV and had special edition CDs at Best Buy and man they really the talk of the town in metal and especially Christian metal and punk scene! My how times have changed. The band themselves don’t seem to be confessing Christians these days, at least not publicly. Real disappointment and many loyal fans of the group share my sentiments. I still enjoy listening to their old stuff! I would love to see these guys live with friends and family for sure! If you have never heard their music before I would suggest their biggest works being They’re Only Chasing Safety, Define The Great Line, and Lost In The Sound Of Separation. Literally pick any song like a roulette. It is all great stuff! Worth every minute!
I cant believe theyre touring with Periphery, that is so cool! Well come to think of it, Ya makes sense because UO is friends with Animals As Leaders among many other bands. If you didnt know Periphery and Animals As Leaders are Djent bands. Sub-genre of Progressive Metal. Think bebop but metal and then add bunch of bends and single not palm-muted chugs. DUH-JENT. Really nerdy music, I like it. Anyway, they will also tour with Loathe. I heard of these guys but never ever got into them. Listening to them now they are sick! It’s like Deftones meets Quicksand meets Mutemath meets death metal and emo/screamo. It’s good stuff. Really good.
So when it comes to the venue? Do you love the Hard Rock Cafe? I do! It’s a lot of fun! The environment, the gift shop, the employees! The employees all get mandatory tips from the bills customers pay. So ya if I was working there I’d probably walk around with a big fat smile too. So as you can imagine the customer service is top notch! Everyone is happy to see you especially if you say you are a Unity member. Unity is their loyalty program! Download the app before your visit! Eat great food and maybe buy a pin after you buy that sweet sweet Underoath shirt! I love collecting the pins! So unique! Some you can’t even find anywhere else but that one Hard Rock location!
