Steve Perry’s studio debut in Journey on the LP, Infinity, launched their career into stardom. Following this rise to great fame, they released a stream of singles including “Any Way You Want It,” “Lights,” and the iconic “Don’t Stop Believing,” all of which have become largely known classic rock anthems. Following their initial releases, they went on to release albums such as Captured, Escape, Frontiers, Street Talk, and Raised on Radio along with many others. Then, they went on tour- further proving their name in the music industry.
In 2005, they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This same year, they released a new album, Generations, and went on a 30th anniversary tour with 3+ hour shows. Their fame had still yet to descend when in 2011 they released a concept album titled, Eclipse. They continuous discover how to create progressive music within their sphere of ‘80s anthemic/classic rock.
