The Lone Bellow The Fillmore 02/11

Indie poppy happy go lucky sounds come to gloomy and depraved San Francisco

The Lone Bellowtheir song Count On Me has hit 14 million plays and counting on Spotify. Wow, don’t believe me? Go click the link I just gave you in the opening sentence. They are known for their Americana sound yet I would say it is very contemporary. To get a better idea of their vibes and sound, I will just list some names of some Spotify branded playlist titles they appear on to set the tone. Roots Rising, Fresh Folk, Folk Pop, Roots Revival, and Totally Stress Free. Apparently they are associated with a new genre called Roots. Well, at least it’s new to me. I have never heard of this genre before. Well anyway, have you ever been to The Fillmore? Neither have I but I used to walk around there a lot like every day. Lots of exercise and good sweating going up and down, up and down those nice generous hills. Anywho, The Fillmore markets itself as this famous historic well-to-do place of pomp and entertainment. So far I have not heard anything bad about the place. I bet it’s worth a drop in and a check-out. What’s cool about the surrounding area is that there are a lot of places to blow money and eat good! Xtreme pizza across The Goodwill is a good place to stop. Or if you are a simple man with simple taste then maybe the Jack In The Box or neighboring Panda Express will serve you and your tastes well. Mmm orange chicken and Super Greens! Yum! Hungry yet? Then maybe book a ticket to the show then head on BART super early (to avoid those pesky delays) and go get some Panda and boba from across the street then smuggle it all in the venue. Or maybe just stuff a burger from Jack in your back pocket then walk right into the venue. Just remember that there actually is a Homestyle Ranch Chicken Club sandwich with extra lettuce, bacon, and tomato inside your back pocket so as to not smoosh it in a seat while sitting down or dropping it on the bathroom floor when you drop your trousers boy!
