SZA  released teaser of her new Tarantino-style music video for “Kill Bill” on Twitter on December 29th. The full music video, directed by Christian Breslauer, shows an exciting promise for an interesting new music video. According to NME, the teaser spanning nearly 20 seconds features the artist riding a motorcycle to vengeance. SZA’s katana and jumpsuit are a parallel to Uma Thurman’s portrayal of ‘The Bride’ in Tarantino’s “Kill Bill”. In the few days since the release of the teaser, it has already reached over 1.3 million views on Twitter – a promising number for the release of the full video.

The video, although only twenty seconds and only posted on Twitter, is a captivating debut for SZA’s latest song. While no direct date has been mentioned for the full release of the music video, the teaser ends with a promise of ‘coming soon’. This ominous teaser leaves fans of the R&B artist in suspense and reminds them to keep an eye out for an exciting full release.

The teaser for ‘Kill Bill’ follows the release of an angsty black and white music video for ‘Nobody Gets Me’. In the last few months SZA has also released several well recieved singles. Hopefully, the artist can continue to match this energy with the full release of ‘Kill Bill’.
