The Pharcyde The New Parish 02/17

Rap group of olde comes to Oakland to party like it’s 1995

The Pharcyde is known for their old skool hip-hop. I used to be super into that in middle school. I did so much homework on that genre and those years of the 1990’s. I am surprised I have never heard of these guys. O well. Anyway, hello and welcome to my third article of the week. If you missed my last two, (be honest you missed literally all of them but whatever) I covered No Vacation and Norma Jean and their upcoming shows for 2023. I need to go to bed soon. It is late so let us get the ball rolling shall we? Do you care to watch these guys play live? If so, Friday, February 17th is the date and doors open an hour ahead of the live performance at 8pm. The surrounding area where the venue is located is downtown Oakland and it is nice! They have a Panda Express! Near to a Chase bank. If that matters at all I don’t know. You like orange chicken? Of course you do. Well back to the details of the show, if you pay fifty dollars extra on top of the twenty five for the ticket; you get a signed poster from the group. That’s it? Ok well I guess that for hardcore fans then. Maybe that’s you I don’t know. I don’t care. Hey don’t blame me I’m not even getting paid to do this mind you. I just write to whoever is reading for free. So forgive me for any typos. You get what you pay for right? So man that better be one sweet $50 poster! Add another $75 on top of that and you can actually meet the group and get the poster. I hope they are nice to their fans. Just saying. I don’t know these guys. Remember I just now heard of them! But hey I understand these guys just gotta eat somehow right?

  • 1743 San Pablo Ave, Oakland
  • Doors 8p Live 9p

Thank you goodnight
