NEXT WEEK: STRAIGHT NO CHASER AT THE CHICAGO THEATRE

5/1/23 – Chicago, IL – The Chicago Theatre

Although originally scheduled for December 23rd, Straight No Chaser comes to The Chicago Theatre on January 5th! The acapella group will bring their holiday renditions to Chicago for the holiday time. The acapella group blends together holiday songs with renditions from popular artists including: Toto, Stevie Wonder, and David Bowie.

Straight No Chaser is celebrating their 25 years of singing since their time together at Indiana University. One of the original members, Randy Stine, uploaded their 1998 college performance of  “The 12 Days of Christmas” to reminisce about this moment from college. Little did he think this video would go viral and lead the acapella group to performing 25 years later! (SNC)

In their 25 years of performing, Straight No chaser has been busy. The group has released eight albums, founded their own record label called SNC Records, has three PBS specials, and collaborated with Elton John. Stevie Wonder, and Kristen Bell. Outside of music, many of the members have started their own families as well.

This year, Straight No Chaser released a single called “Christmas Night With You”. The single features newest member Freedom, who was just asked to join the group in September! The music video showcases its newest member in the Christmas themed date.

According to their website, The group now consists of Steve Morgan, Tyler Trepp, Sargon Isho, Walter Chase, Jerome Collins, Jasper Smith, Randy Stine, Mike Luginbill, and Freedom Young.
