Country/70’s rock artist takes center stage this coming February 2023
Margo Price might just make you pay the price at the box office to watch her live performance. I don’t know. Maybe not, I don’t care, it’s your money. Not familiar with her music? Cool. Neither am I. Now moving on to the venue….. Just kidding… Laugh out loud… Anyway she plays some old-timey country sounding tunes and some of her songs have strong recollections of Hendrix and Santana. Ok. Now we can move on to the venue!
The Fillmore is a venue in San Francisco that is literally just a standing only concert hall. Literally. That is what you see when you look at the event “seating” map on livenation.com. This room is said to be located on the second floor. The venue is located on the corner of Geary and Fillmore right in between the Fillmore district and Japantown! Sounds like a lot of food, fun, shopping, drinks, and reasons why you are still broke. Let’s face it! You have more money problems than a man between a rock and shark place. Yes. Shark. Like loan-shark. But that is ok because you have long since accepted that and don’t really care. I’m not saying that’s ok but hey you like going to concerts. That’s why you are reading aren’t you? Well atleast the venue is in a great location! I love Japantown! What comes to your mind when you think of Japanese stuff? I think cute yet annoying catchy music, amazing snacks and sweets, cool looking cartoons, overpriced ballpoint pens that are stolen and coveted, and….. Relaxing memories…. Aw! Nothing like reading manga in a Japanese cafe while eating a crepe or tempura fried chicken! I can easily imagine lo-fi hip-hop in the background.
