The dreamy chillwave artist Washed Out brings their music to Chicago on December 29th! Born Ernest Weatherly Greene Jr., Washed Out blends together hypnotic synths and dance beats to make music you can’t help but groove to. Before he was a successful producer and artist, Greene went to school for library and information science. It wasn’t until after completing his masters that he started making music. (Wiki)
With four studio albums, the latest addition to Washed Out’s discography is Purple Noon (2020). His music has appeared in television shows such as Portlandia and The Spectacular Now. For the upcoming shows, Washed Out won’t be focusing on his most recent album.
The recent shows will showcase Washed Out’s talents at DJing. These DJ set shows should expect to include songs from his discography, but also include songs not familiar to fans. This is not the first time the chillwave artist has had a set like this. Over the years Washed Out has made numerous concerts to showcase his talents as a DJ. This show is sure to warm up the cold Chicagoans.
