Death Cab for Cutie at Madison Square Garden on September 20th, 2023

American rock band Death Cab for Cutie are doing a tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their successful fourth studio album, released in 2003, Transatlanticism. They’re performing with American indie group Postal Service, who are also celebrating the 20th anniversary of their only album, Give Up. This will be the first time Postal Service have done shows since their tenth anniversary for Give Up in 2013.

Death Cab for Cutie consists of Ben Gibbard (vocals, guitar, piano), Nick Harmer (bass), Dave Depper (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Zac Rae (keyboards, guitar), and Jason McGerr (drums). The band formed in 1997 and Transatlanticism, the album that they’re touring for, was the album that broke them into the mainstream, causing them to be featured in countless TV series and films. On the tour, they plan on playing the hit album in full. The band throughout their extensive career, have received massive critical acclaim and currently, have received eight Grammy nominations.

The Artist, Spotify, and Bowery presale for their MSG performance begins on Wednesday, December 14th at 10:00am and the General Public sale is on Friday, December 16th, at 9:00am.
