Patty Griffin at Old Town School of Folk Music on Jan. 26 & 27

Patty Griffin will come to Chicago in late January for two performances. See Griffin play live at her two Windy City shows on Thursday, Jan. 26 and Friday, Jan. 27. Her upcoming 2023 concert takes place at the Old Town School of Folk Music, specifically onstage at Gary and Laura Maurer Concert Hall.

Patty Griffin’s most recent album came out in 2022, titled Tape. Griffin released Tape in the summer, an LP consisting of 10 tracks. The record cover describes Tape as full of “Home Recordings & Rarities.” In spring, the artist dropped Tape’s opening track and single “Get Lucky.” Additionally, in the fall of 2022, Griffin produced her latest single, Angels Are Falling. Singer-songwriter Patty Griffin has been putting out music since the mid-1990s. Her debut studio album, Living With Ghosts, came out in 1996. During her career, Griffin has won two Grammys and been nominated for five others. Her Grammy wins include self-titled project Patty Griffin as Best Folk Album and Downtown Church as Best Traditional Gospel Album. The albums came out in 2019 and 2010, respectively.
