Tennis at Beacon Theatre on April 1st, 2023

Tennis just recently dropped, around a week ago, the dates for their 2023 tour, titled the “Pollen 2023 Tour.” The tour is in support of their upcoming album, POLLEN, which comes out next year on February 10th, 2023. So far, the only song that has dropped from the album is “One Night with the Valet,” which came out on November 15th.

Tennis hails from Denver, Colorado, and they are best known for their indie-pop sound. The band is made up of husband and wife, Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley. The couple met while studying philosophy in college, and the band’s name comes from a joke about Patrick playing tennis in college. They’ve been around since 2010, and have released five albums over the course of their career. They do most of their songwriting while away at sea, as they find inspiration typically on sailing trips they take together as a couple.

If you’re looking to see Tennis live, you can see them and Kate Bollinger, their opener, on April 1st, 2023 at the Beacon Theatre. Tickets are still in stock for face value on Ticketmaster.com so get them while you still can!

Valentina Arrieta: I'm currently a college student who loves going to shows more than anything, and who has been an avid concertgoer for the last decade. My entire life revolves around music, and I can talk passionately, and at length about all my favorite artists. I study art in all its forms, with an emphasis on music, so I love that I'm able to get the opportunity to write about music, and share with you all some great shows that are coming up in NYC!
