Shygirl, the London artist, known for not fitting into a box, recently just announced a 2023 North American tour. It was just announced following the world tour she’s on right now, where she’s making stops in South America, Europe, the UK, and Australia. The tour is in support of the release of her long-awaited, debut album, Nymph. This album came out on September 30th, 2022, and has already received massive critical acclaim.

Shygirl is an artist of the internet age, through and through. Known for pushing the boundaries, with her adventurous production and ease either rapping or hovering, ethereally on a track— she is nothing short of thrilling. With impressive success on apps like TikTok and growing popularity in both the U.K. Grime world, and in nightlife scenes, she’s grown a diverse, and loyal fanbase. She’s worked with massive figures of note especially in the hyperpop world, like SOPHIE (collaborating quite often before SOPHIE’s tragic passing), Arca, and Sega Bodega. Some of her most famous songs are collaborations as well with artists like FKA Twigs, Lil Uzi Vert, PinkPanthress, and Slowthai. If you’re looking for a place to dance, a Shygirl show is for you.

Valentina Arrieta: I'm currently a college student who loves going to shows more than anything, and who has been an avid concertgoer for the last decade. My entire life revolves around music, and I can talk passionately, and at length about all my favorite artists. I study art in all its forms, with an emphasis on music, so I love that I'm able to get the opportunity to write about music, and share with you all some great shows that are coming up in NYC!
