Most Chicagoans have driven past the big ol’ Morton Salt building at some point; it’s hard to miss. Previously a factory, The Salt Shed was recently unveiled as one of the city’s hottest new music venues and on Feb. 17, Tove Lo kicks off a series of scheduled 2023 spring shows with special guest Slayyyter. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. CST on Friday, Nov. 18.

Electropop princess Tove Lo most recently dropped her fifth studio album on Oct. 14, 2022, titled Dirt Femme. Half of the project’s dozen tracks are pre-released singles, including “Grapefruit,” “Call On Me” with SG Lewis, “2 Die 4,” “No One Dies From Love,” “True Romance” and “How Long” from HBO’s Euphoria. Concert-goers can expect these songs and more on her Dirt Femme tour stop at The Salt Shed.

Tove Lo, born Ebba Elsa Nilsson, is a singer-songwriter from Sweden known for her edgy, intimate dance music. Her debut studio album in 2014, Queen Of The Clouds climbed charts around the world and received platinum certification in both the U.S. and Sweden. Queen Of The Clouds and her 2016 sophomore album Lady Wood mark some of her most popular work, with Lady Wood topping Swedish charts. The record consists of well-known singles “Cool Girl” and “True Disaster,” while Queen Of The Clouds features one of Tove Lo’s biggest hits, “Habits (Stay High).”
