The Smile. What well thought out name for a band. Legend says that it took them three whole years before even recording a single song until they got that band name set up just right. And ya, I just seriously made all that up just to waste your time reading this. Sucker. Fooled you. You probably believe everything you hear and read from the media. Laugh. Out. Loud. Anyway, Wikipedia tells me that this band is a “spinoff” of the famous rock band Radiohead. Huh, well that’s something I didn’t know. They are from England. Didn’t know that one either. Also the band name comes from a poem nobody cares about. Boom! Yet another thing I didn’t know! Wikipedia also says that during the 2020 scamdemic or plan-demic, however you like to say it, The Smile was smiling away working hard on producing music. In fact that’s how and when the band was born. That’s pretty dope. Because screw social distancing. What a farce. I always say that there was no good excuse to shut down the world economy and stop working in 2020. These boys knew that and knew it well. Good for them. But I have to admit I had a lot of fun doing nothing, stuffing my face-hole with Burger King and playing Portal during the day then walking for three hours during the night. Gotta keep up with healthy exercise! Oh and don’t forget blowing all that sweet sweet EDD money.
