Elizabeth Moen at Schubas on Dec. 16

Chicago artist Elizabeth Moen celebrates her newest record with a show at Schubas Tavern on Dec. 16, following the album’s release event at The Empty Bottle on Dec. 9. Presented by Audiotree, the Schubas show also features special guest Michael Damani.

Elizabeth Moen’s upcoming show supports her latest album: Wherever You Aren’t. This 10-song project came out on Nov. 11, 2022, with three pre-released singles: “Emotionally Available” in August, “Synthetic Fabrics” in September and “Wherever You Aren’t” in October. In addition to Wherever You Aren’t, Moen dropped three other singles in 2022, including “Songbird,” “Sorry That I Love You” with Andrew Sa and the song’s French counterpart, “Excuse-moi de t’aimer” with Sima Cunningham. Her 2022 release of “Songbird” is a new version of the opening track on her self-titled debut album, Elizabeth Moen.

Moen is a local singer-songwriter and guitarist. Though based in Chicago, she started making music in Iowa City as a college student. The musician premiered Elizabeth Moen in 2016, marking the first of her four studio albums, including newest release Wherever You Aren’t. Moen published That’s All I Wanted in 2017 and A Million Miles Away the following year as her second and third LP, respectively.
